This custom rug design was completed in 2020 and was inspired by mid century modern design. At the time of its creation, I was watching "The Queens Gambit", set in the same era and was inspired by Beth Harmon's Character. My design is essentially an image of her face with a true mid-century modern colour palette and shapes inspired by her characters style and features.
